The first game shown at Microsoft’s E3 conference after the initial reveal of the Xbox One X, Forza Motorsport 7 is the newest entry on Turn 10’s semi-yearly racing series, and the first one to feature 4K visuals (available only on Xbox One X).
Brief gameplay pieces were shown, including a driving section on a brand new track set in Dubai, and the return of arguably the most famous circuit in the world, the Nürburgring, featuring new graphical rain effects during the latter race. It was also announced that Forza Motorsport 7 will feature 700 cars, a record for the series, 30 different racing locations, and a brand new dynamic weather system is also present.
Lastly, though not exactly game-related, Microsoft also unveiled a new real-life Porsche model onstage, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, as part of a new partnership between both companies. Said new model will be present in the game.
Forza Motorsport 7 will come out on Xbox One and PC October 3rd, 2017.
