In what was easily the weirdest, funniest, most self-aware and most ironic conference in E3’s history, Devolver digital decided to take a completely different path from traditional big publisher shows and showed nearly no games at all (just two new game trailers). What they did show, on the other hand, were various punches at big publisher practices (such as Early Access), the literal act of throwing money at the screen, Suda51 showing up just for a joke, and a lot more brilliant nonsense.

Two new games were shown in between, however: top-down shooters Ruiner and Serious Sam: Bogus Detour.
